FAQ

Why are you selling the equipment?

I'll try to make a long story short. I bought the equipment in August of 2007. After all the preparation, I was ready to go by the first of October 2007. Michigan, of course, is a cold weather state so I knew it would be seasonal. I put the equipment away in November. In March of 2008 I was gearing up for the warmer months. Unfortunately, my wife was diagnosed with cancer that same month. I spent most of 2008 taking care of my wife. I had little time to market the business or perform photo shoots. My wife died in January of this year. I've developed other interests and no longer have an interest in the elevated photo business. 

Can I make money with this equipment?

My personal situation had a significant effect on my ability to market and sell the service. How much money you make depends on your skills and efforts. There is no guarantee that you'll make any amount of money.

Is there any equipemnt guarantee or warranty?

No, the equipment is sold as is. You can view and test it by coming to Grand Rapids, MI.

Where are you located?

In the Grand Rapids, MI area. I'll send you my address if you want to see and test it.

When can I see and test the equipment?

I'm available most days of the week.

Can I buy some of the equipment without purchasing all of it?

If I sell part of it, then I have to sell it piece-by-piece. I'd rather sell it as a package.

What support will you provide?

I will provide 30 days support after the sale. This would include answering questions about how to use the equipment or other general questions. Techncial questions would have to be directed to Southern Balloon Works or the equipment manufacturer.

Do I need to be a professional photographer?

No. The equipment is simple to use. However, you should be able to edit digital photos because the images will sometimes be crooked due to the wind.

Is your business name for sale?

If you're interested in the web site, then I'd be willing to include the business name with the purchase of the web site.

Is the website for sale?

Yes, the web site can be purchased also. The cost of the site is: $2,500.00. I would retain the right to use High FX Photo.net. Certain elements will be removed from the site prior to the sale. Please contact me to discuss the sale of the site.

How will I pay you?

I have a business Paypal account so you can pay with your Paypal account or with a credit card.
