about how much horsepower?
i jus got my motor completely redone, it was a 396, no it is a 402, i got the oval port open chambered heads completely redone with a 3 angle valve job and bigger springs for the .515 lift cam, the block was bored .30 over and i got new forged aluminum pistons. on top is a weiand aluminum intake with a holley 750 doulbe pumper carb on it. it has about 11:1 compression. and also, my buddy gave my a turbo off of a 3500 diesel, could i put this on my motor? if so, wut would i need and how much work would it be?
Since you stated exactly what cam you were using in a previous question, I looked up the cam specs and ran your combo through Desktop Dyno. These numbers are assuming that you don't have any port work done on the heads. This is what it came up with: Max h.p. 407@ 5,000 rpm. Max torque 474@ 3,500 rpm. I'd say that's probably pretty close. The turbo question has already been addressed, your engine has way too much compression for forced induction.
